The 18th Annual Clover Field Day, "From The Ground Up", is planned for Wednesday , April 27th, 2011. Gene, at 84, says this is the last field day he will be giving. Don't miss it! Morning sessions start with registration from 8 - 9 a.m. at the Community Center in Iola. Morning session will cover getting started, choosing the best genetics for grassfed animals, rotational/intensive grazing with cross fencing, improving your soils naturally, alternatives to chemical fertilizers, and other subjects of interest will be covered. The afternoon will be spent at Sollock farm, learning in the field. Lunch is included in the $20 registration fee.
